1. Agreement to Terms
By using the TimeValue application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TimeValue is a personal finance application designed to help users understand their finances by translating monetary value into time. The Service includes budgeting tools and AI-powered financial analysis. The Service is for informational purposes only and is not intended as financial, legal, or tax advice.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. User Content
You are solely responsible for the financial data and other content that you input into the Service ("User Content"). You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service for you.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Input false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
- Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security of, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service.
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of the Service are offered on a subscription basis ("TimeValue Pro"). Fees for subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. All payments are securely handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the "Account" page in the Service. We may also terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users of the Service, us, or third parties.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of TimeValue and its licensors.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Service, or that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. The financial analyses and tips provided by the AI are for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional financial advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall TimeValue, nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
